I have a 51 F series truck with a sloppy steering box. Are there bolt on later models that would fit or would you have it rebuilt. If rebuilt is the direction, any recommendations of someone to do the rebuild. Thanks in advance for your input.

My 51 F1 is 12 volt and I want to connect the 6 volt gauges. I saw a F1 with a aftermarket 12 volt gauges and wonder is it more cost effective to convert the 6 volt to 12 or replace the gauges with new 12 volt
I own a 51 and a 52 F1 which I noticed have the speedometer on different sides. Were they different or did someone flip the speedometer and gauge cluster on one?
One of my F1's has been converted to 12volt and the original heater was discarded. I know I can purchased the original in a 12 volt but am looking for a smaller and lower cost option which will allow me to drive this one in the spring and fall here in the Great Lakes region. Has anyone had...
Thanks again Tom for the knowledge. My 52 is stock but not running at the time. I sent my distributor to Bud to rebuild but still cannot get it started.
