    Who went to Hershey?

You pose a good question. There were a few more empty spaces this year in my opinion. Was there less Ford parts? That is open to opinion. There were lots of Ford collectible items. The thing that bothers me a bit is that there still was the wooden nickel the AACA hands out with the dates for...

    Fender welt advice please

I guess no one understands rubber cement. It never dries completely and can be rolled off with a finger. Why use it to hold the welting? Because you can pull it off and reset it the welting. Think post-it notes. Available at most office supply businesses.

    Fender welt advice please

Rubber cement is your friend here. That is what I used. Also, check your fenders. My 1936 pickup front fenders had tiny holes which made me thing that there were small nails that held the fender welt in place. But, still used the rubber cement.

Note: Today (Wednesday Sept 30) we drove by Carlise via the PA turnpike. The field that you see from the turnpike, looks like it was Sunday. Lots of grass.

    1936 pickup sun visor question

Those holes should have plugs in them to cover the holes. The holes are for tightening the windshield hinge. Look up at them and it will make sense as you should see a screw once you look into the hole. To verify, remove the wiper cover (the rectangle metal) above.

Perhaps a sign of the times for all of us

The lady in my life has said that she has a plan for when I am gone. Any car related stuff goes in a paper grocery bag and it will be "a buck a bag" unless it doesn't fit in the bag, then it will be five dollars.
