Has anyone used the Firestone 5.25-21 tires on a 28/29 A?

Do the pistons extend above the deck on the block when fully up or should they be only flush?

I love it when they tell me how they had a car just like my 29 A Roadster except it was green, had a hardtop, four doors and was a chevy.

I believe that Ford changed the brake adjustment procedure for the A in the early 1930's. Does anyone have a link or copy of this?

I think the owners only used it a few years to haul grain. After that, it was used to take the kids, cousins, etc. down to the farm pond to swim and fish.

Any cleaning with gasoline or kerosene or anything similar is done outside.

Does anyone know of a source for brake lining material for a 1930 AA truck other than the usual vendors? Just need material for one side in the rear.

I am currently working on an early 1930 AA truck that has a been in a barn for 25 years for a neighbor. The tires on it now are 6.50 - 20 that must be 40 years old but still hold air. What is the correct size tire for the truck, 6.50 or 6.00? The WB is 131".
