Gold Was Just A Windy Kansas Wheatfield Blue Was Just A Kansas Summer Sky

Nice picture! I'm guessing from the mid to late 20's? Looks like maybe another T in the background. Was this a promotional picture for the harvesting equipment?

    1913 1914 windshield info needed

Well we figured it out today. We had the right hinges with the doubled bumps and the 1914 bent braces. I think the difference is the top portion of the windshield. We ended up taking the upper portion apart and drilling new holes for the hinge screws 1/2 inch different from the fold forward...

    1913 1914 windshield info needed

Chris, We don't know for sure. The engine has no serial numbers, the body has a tag under the front seat cushion that shows 4 - 14. We believe the car was originally assembled in California. We also think the engine may be a factory replacement? it has original std bore cast iron pistons...

    1913 1914 windshield info needed

Hi guys, We have a 1914 T touring that has a 1913 windshield on it that folds forward. Yes it is a 1914 bodied car. We have tried changing the hinges around and switching it around but it will not work right to fold back towards the driver like it should for a 14. What exactly is the...

    House Wire Wheels

From what I have found out so far. I don't know when the House Wheel production first started. I know it was before 1916 and I think they were originally produced in Springfield Mass. until WW1. In 1915 -16 Wire Wheel Corp was formed and they bought the patent rights and production of several...

    House Wire Wheels

Just to update on the progress of our 1914 T touring with the House wire wheels. We did an initial test run of about 20 miles. the wheels worked great not steering problems at all, in runs straight and smooth. We did have a problem with the water pump pushing way to much water through the...

    Driving a T on today's roads.

Great advice from you guys. I live in a relatively rural area and can usually go to ice cream shop or in to town on back roads with no problem. Also the club tours are a great time especially if cars are spaced out or just given a destination and a route map and set off on your own. I have to...

    House Wire Wheels

Hi Mike, The House wire wheels are virtually the same as the Buffalo brand of wire wheels for a model T. The only difference that I can see is the Hub Caps themselves. The house wheels have the two holes in the cap and the caps on Buffalo wheels have a hex nut shape on the outer part of the...

    House Wire Wheels

Just to update this thread. We did find a set of House hub cap emblems on ebay. They are not quite made the same as the original but they look much better than no emblem. Attached are a couple of pictures of the hub cap and the wheel on our 1914 Model T. Does anyone else out there in Model T...

    House Wire Wheels

We have a 1914 T touring with a set of "House" Quick Change wire wheels made in Buffalo NY by Wire Wheel Corp of America. We are looking to obtain the brass emblems that rivet to the spin on hub caps, Left Hand and Right Hand. I can email a picture of the one original emblem that we have...
