    55 T-bird oil leak

Mike, Thanks again for your help. I could not be more happy that this leak can be fixed for a $10 part. I was imagining a week under the car replacing the oil pan! The picture you sent is the same looks the same as the catalog pics. thanks also for the tip not to use teflon tape (I would...

    55 T-bird oil leak

I found the cause of the leak -- it seems to be a gauge next to the oil filter. Oil is spirting from the gauge. I tightened it, but the leak is the gauge itself, not the threads. I looked up on ebay and found "engine pressure gauge" which looks to be the part. Or perhaps it is the oil...

    55 T-bird oil leak

I recently purchased a 55 T-bird. When sitting, there is no oil leak, but when driving, the oil leaks out in a continuous stream of drips. What is the most likely cause, and best fix for this leak. (I still need to clean the undercarriage and get the car on jacks so I can check, but thought I...

    Steering Key Lock 33Ford

Thanks for all these suggestions. I was able to losen the steering column which gave access to a screw on the top of the key/steering lock. I removed this screw (which had a spring in it). In addition, I took out a screw from the bottom of the lock. After removing these two screws, I used a...

    Steering Key Lock 33Ford

I put my 33 Ford on display and the people somehow locked my steering. I do not have the steering lock key, which is also gives access to the ignition. In the past, I could just turn the ignition on/off with the switch, so it seems the key position was unlocked. Now the switch position seems...

    Carburetor Adjustment for 33 Ford

I hope I attached the two files correctly; these are two pictures of the carburetor, one from left and one from right. Does it look like correct carburetor? I am trying to figure out what the two screws do at the base. I assume one is for fuel and one for air, correct. But which ones?

'33 Rumble Seat Handle or No Handle

Thanks very much. The car has roll up windows and a cable going to the latch, so the car must be a Cabriolet (and therefore not need a handle). However, did the Cabriolet have the greyhound hood ornament?

'33 Rumble Seat Handle or No Handle

Dear Ford Friends, I am restoring a 1933 Ford Roadster (I am not sure if it is a Deluxe or Cabriolet). In some ads I can see the rumble seat has a handle, in other ad pictures the rumble seat has no handle. Can somebody tell me the correct configuration? Handle or no handle? Thanks! Mike

Thanks again -- any recommendations where I can find interior horn parts? I have checked Macs, Speedway, etc. and do not see any horn parts.

    1933 Horn Sound?

Dear Ford Friends, I am restoring a 1933 Roadster and was wondering what the horn should sound like? For those that have a 33 Ford, does the horn have the Ahoogah sound (like the 28-31 Model As) or the beep sound? Thanks very much for your help. Mike
