Thanks everyone. I will check for the plunger pins before pulling the trans. The original engine block was cracked, the trans was the best (I thought) of the two I had. Thanks again

Just took my '31 Tudor out for a test drive after installing a used engine and trans. The trans jumps out of second gear and also is a little noisy in second. Any possibility of dealing with this without pulling the trans? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for all the input. I jacked up the ear wheel and got the gears to move. Now on to the next problem..... Thanks again to everyone who responded.

I reinstalled the transmission and motor in my '31 Tudor and cannot get the trans into neutral. Have removed the shifter and attempted to move the gears by hand without success. Any suggestions?
