    No gas to engine still

All good things to check. Carb is rebuilt, float moves freely, no skid marks on inside of float bowl, no air leaks, no pressure regulator. I'll check the power valve, and I do have another rough looking carb to try on it. thanks for all the suggestions!

    No gas to engine still

Fuel pressure is fine. gas flows to inlet on carburetor. needle valve free and clear, float moves just fine when top is off carburetor. Something is holding it up once it's put together. No scrape marks on inside of float bowl. runs for 2 minutes, then no gas in float bowl. Any brainy...

    no gas thru carburetor

Thanks for the ideas, plenty of pressure, Ford fuel pump works, + electric going.. gas everywhere when carburetor top is off and hooked up to fuel line. Put back together, it stops! I'm yanking the carb AGAIN to fill float bowl and see if accelerator pump works, then maybe take all apart...

    no gas thru carburetor

gas is good up to carburetor, even flows thru needle valve and into float bowl. Starts, and when gas is used up, it stops. Any hidden secrets inside the original Holley carb? I'm at wits end! MC

41 Ford Coupe won't start if engine is warm.

I went through lots of the same stuff, new cables, grind down the ground cables, on and on, turned out the stupid starter was bad. Turned slowly when hot. An old rusty looking starter off the shelf solved the problem. Good luck Mel
