I've been searching for KR Wilson BV-121tool to replace my shackle studs (I have NOS studs), but no luck so far. So, I'm thinking about modifying a C clamp with the guides that can be fabricated. Short of having the KR Wilson tool, is there any other way to press the studs in without smashing...

Getting ready to re-assemble the pinion gear assembly and want to know if I should pack the three bearings with grease or just a little gear oil (140W) beforehand. I know the bearings will be lubricated by the oil in the differential housing, but wasn't sure if greasing them was a bad idea...

Thanks everyone for the input. My hunch was that taking a cage nut with flanges and then working with them to get them into to metal wrap was the best solution. Also appreciate the advice on the lubrication.
