Thank you for the quick replies. I did check the oil level after it sat overnight and it still was that much lower. HOWEVER -- I had previously filled the oil up to the bottom of the "F" on the dipstick. I'll try the black
sock and fill the oil half way as suggested.

My 1930 roadster deluxe had an rebuilt engine with 19 miles on it when I bought it several months ago. The previous owner knew very little about
the engine work done on the engine because when he bought the car that
owner had just died and his widow was living in a different state. No info...
Hi Dollar Bill and Old 31
Thank you for the quick reply and the pics.
My A doesn't have the small metal clip on the upholstered
back vertical board that you two have per your pics. I guess

Hello all
I recently obtained a 1930 model A Roadster Deluxe that has a Lebaron
Bonney top on it. I think I have figured out how to raise and lower the top

Thanks for the response Ken. I'm not real sure where the terminal box is.
Is it the black box under the coil looking thing near the top of the firewall on the engine side. I took the cover off and it seems that there are two bolts that have wires to them. Any idea about which side I should...
Hello
Recently I obtained a 1930 Ford Model A roadster deluxe. I hardly know anything about the Model As. I quickly realized I needed to add turn signals to it. Based on the positive comments from this forum, I ordered
a hidden turn signal kit from Electro-Tech. I have the turn signal switch and...
