Is the whine in all of the gears or just in the third gear? I experienced a whine in the third gear only and that proved to be an alignment problem. Shimming the flywheel housing to spec solved that problem for me. Dick

Never a dull moment I said. I have now discovered the reason for the bend in the left perch. As you all know the brake actuator is bolted to the perch. If the bolt hole is not in exactly the right place the actuator does not fit properly in the king pin. I know this now because I straigthed the...

Quick update. I have found out that the left perch is bent. The top end has a tighter curve than the right one. This is the cause of the brake actuator sagging. I am now looking for a new spring perch. Are the reproductions any good or should I try to find an original one? In addition to this...
