The doors on my ccpu often open when I hit a bump or make a shart turn. Does anyone make a simple safety lock that could prevent this? It seems that a sliding mechanism could be used as a safety lock without looking too bad.

Just starting to adjust brakes and the right rear adjusting wedge does not make any changes either forward or backward. I removed the drum and everything looks normal but the shoe does not move when turning the wedge. Never worked on brakes before so lost on what to check for.

I am close to getting the cab of my 1930 CCPU from the painter and was wondering exactly where the bed panel goes. I know the orientation but do not know if it tucks under the rear of the cab or not. Probably a dumb question but it has been a long time since I took it apart.

I did get it figured out, thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I tried the advice of 1931 Flamingo and discovered that the pin on the distributor was not 100% aligned with the hole in the head (not mine, the engine). I used a drill bit and cleaned the paint out and the distributor dropped...
