    carburetor options??

Pump and filter and everything is still stock setup. I didn't change anything. Been reading about 1904 being a temperamental carb with consistent flooding issues throughout the years. I've rebuilt the carb once and also disassembled it three times to make sure it was clean all with the same...

    Drop Spindles

No special tools, it was actually easier than I had read. Just jacked it up removed the bolts, pop the old springs out, put new springs in and bolt it back up. And if you don't like the drop height just wait til you drive it around for a bit. Once the springs settled after about a week I had...

    Drop Spindles

I have a 53 Customline. I went the 1990 Aerostar coil route and it gave me about 2 to 2 1/2 inches of drop. Very easy to install and very inexpensive, $60 or so from www.rockauto.com

    Mac's Poor Customer Service????????

I also have not had any trouble with Mac's. Actually been pretty pleased with everything I've ordered from them. Sorry about your bad experience but it seems to be an isolated incident and not the norm from them.

    1953 Wiring Harness Question

I just completed a total rewire on my 53 Customline using a 12 circuit kit from EZ Wiring. It was pretty easy and headache free since all wires are different colors and labeled every 5 inches as to where it should go.

    Undercoating

My 53 has undercoating as well. I just assumed the previous owner had it done, but after reading this thread maybe not.

    Light switch replacement issue

My 53 Customline headlight switch is going bad. The motor is a OH6 which has been converted to a 12V generator. the only switch I can find anywhere is a 6V switch: http://macsautoparts.com/1949-59-ford-mercury-headlight-switch-6-volt-ford-mercury-faa-11654-a/camid/F50/cp/JS0R3CHL1083929/ Will...
