Hi! How is the generator end plate bushing lubricated? There is a oil cup on the upper side and a oil wick in the bottom. But how does the lubrication reach the axle!? There is no hole in the bushing and it blocks the oil wick/oil cup... What am I missing? :-)

Hi, Adjusting my 2 tooth steering box after putting new bearings etc in it. As I understand it, its not possible to get it play free in all positions. What you want is no play when centered and same amount of play 1/2 turn in either direction. Is that correct? Regards Jonas

Yes, not sure what was going through their heads when it was assembled... Maybe to much garage beer, Im just glad they didnt fit the whole crankshaft the wrong way :-)

Got the thrust on the rear main sorted: Also I think the "modern" seal that was on the crank was fitted the wrong way around with the lip facing the rear of the engine!
