Occasionally I press the starter and just get a "whrrring" noise. I take my foot off and press again and starts fine. This does not always happen ....maybe 1 in 10 starts, Any thoughts?

If I remove the gauge how do you know if there is oil pressure? or am I worrying for no reason, seemed to run normal.

Looking in various publications I have seen AA trucks pulling heavy loads. What was the engine in the AA? A heavier duty 4 cylinder?

Has anyone built a heated/cooled garage for your Model A lately? If so, what heating and air conditioning system did you use? Any concern with potential gas fumes from the car and the fuel source for the htg. and air? Thanks.

Build up in exhaust pipe? muffler? They look fairly new (recent purchase).

When I start my 30 pickup, there are black spots on the driveway , a discharge from the exhaust pipe. It is a mostly dry substance, with no smell, looks like soot from a fireplace. Any thoughts? Thanks

How do you know if that is happening?
