If it were me I'd search out another original clock/mirror and replace it. But thats me.

My 30 four door has etched wind wings and I just love them. Not only do they deflect the wind for the front seat passengers they also add style and elegance to the car. If you put them on and don't like them take them off and resell. Simple.

I'd probably try making my own after this long. Seems like someone would have one laying around though?

Maybe put a shim or small wedge between it and the door frame?

I have a question. I have an area of paint that has flaked off from the front fender and I'm hoping to just touch it up with some primer and perhaps some brushed on paint? The entire area is about 3" x 5". I don't want to go through the hassle of repainting the entire fender at this point so...

I did not inherit my fathers Phaeton but I did accidentally come across the guy that bought it from my dad 28 years earlier, pure luck. After the man died the family sold it in a estate auction and I was the high bidder.

So educate me a little, what is a header clock? My car has a clock in the rear view mirror that hasn't worked in over 50 years but I hate to mess with it and I'm not really worried about it working anyways but why is it called a header clock? Thanks,
