How is the wood where the gutter was attached? If you are going to secure the gutter, you might want to consider something longer in length than the original nail or screw. Can you remove a fastner further along the gutter for comparison?
The sound is noticeable when idling not so much with the engine revved up. If I release the clutch it stops. If I am sitting at a traffic light and depress the clutch for instance, there is no squeaking.
When I depress the clutch pedal to engage the transmission with the engine running, the throwout bearing makes a squeaky noise. I tried lubricating it through the grease fittings in the top opening door in the bellhousing but the noise continues. It only happens when I have the clutch pedal...
Does anyone know about original accessory car clocks are available for the Model A? I had a Mansfield Wiz mirror clock for awhile which no longer works and I'm told can't be repaired.
I have a 1929 Coupe which has a short in the system causing the bulbs to blow. I have an unrebuilt cutout on the generator (6 volt) could this be the problem? How do I trace the wires?
The hinges are in good shape. I've owned the car (1929 coupe) since 1963 and have never taken the doors off. I did take the body off to have it painted and had to adjust the rubber shims when it was put back on. I can feel the door move in and out slightly driving down the road. The...

There is new rubber behind the metal curved receptacle. But it may be contributing to the squeaks. It's hard to pinpoint while driving down the road...
My '29 coupe has a driver's door that squeaks going down the road due to rubber being replaced at the top and bottom and in the latch. How do I stop this?
I recently installed a new wiring harness with new metal contacts that "plug" into their respective sides in front of the horn armature. It works okay without the lights but it has always been poor when they were on. So this is an old problem for me. The battery is fairly new and the car starts...
When I turn on my headlights on my model A, the ammeter shows a zero charge. Also my horn will not make any noise. Can I remedy this by increasing the cha
rge in the generator by moving the adjustable arm? What did Henry do about this?
I see in the Judging standards that the 1929 water pump has no grease fittings. But before in 1928 and after in 1930-31 it did. Was the lack of fittings a problem with water leaking out?
