Yes,there is a good reason to use replacement wheels. This car is a Crestliner and has full cover hubcaps. The use of original wheels with radial tires will not keep the caps on. The wheels will flex enough so that caps will not stay on. I have seen this myself. Wheels designed for radial tires...

I have been told that some Ford Bronco wheels work well for this. What year Bronco have these wheels and is the rim width and other specs the same as the 50? Thanks

I wish to put radial tires and new stock type wheels on my 50 Crestliner. Do any of you have any suggestions where to buy the wheels? I want to use Diamonback ww tires. Thanks
