Can someone tell me how much vacuum I should have at wiper motor for my wipers to function on my 1958 Ford? Please avoid remarks that I should purchase electric wipers. No more than I drive the car, I had rather stay original if I can get wipers to function like new.

I want one for looks only. I have a tripod jack in the car for changing tires should I have the need.

I have a 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 and am looking for a bumper jack like the original. Does anyone know if a Torino, mid-size Fairlane of the 1960s or Falcon use the same bumper jack as the 1955, 1956, 1957 and 1958 Ford?

With modern engines I do not think you need the additives. Some additives did reduce friction but in recent years I would just use thicker oil if one was using oil. The thicker oil does make an engine a little harder to crank in cold weather.

speedometer needle is not visible. When I spin the knob on back of speedometer CW or CCW the hand will not show, so I suppose the problem is not the cable. When I had a 1958 Ford as a teenager, I could spin the little know where cable inserts at back of speedometer and the hand would jump up...

Does anyone know where I can get a functioning 1958 Ford speedometer?
