We drove the car today and noticed the speedometer was not reading correctly, bouncing about 10mph one way and then the other way. It will not give a steady reading. Does anyone have any ideas ?

Yes, we installed a new 3 finger 9" V8 pressure plate and clutch. Free play before was 3/4" or so.

A mapp torch will burn a lot hotter than a propane torch will, be careful not to get it to hot, good luck.

We just got done replacing the beehive type one piece to the 3 spring type with metal plate. The motor is still installed and we removed the beehive by cutting the wire with a Dremel 4000. Removed the front motor mount installed the pieces and put it back together, tightened the nut. Works like...
