Well I'll have to look harder, I'm not seeing that many body mounts but I have got into it far enough either so I might be missing something. I've thought about the ergonomics of chopping the cab, and this another reason I'm going to start at the bottom and work my way up. Once I have the floor...

Question, how many mounting points should the cab have? I'm counting 4 with the rear ones having two point each on the cab side. I ask because what I believe are the front mounts are missing? It seems to be just resting on the front of the frame. Just making sure I'm not missing something. My...

I appreciate the picture, I'd be pleased if my interior looks half that clean when I'm done. Mine will have a mix of class and cool but cleanliness is key I think.

Thanks, I like the way the dash looks in this truck so I will be repairing it and attempting to keep it as it looks. I don't know about original as I dont have a need for the dump bed and want to build it as a bike hauler. I'd like to chop the top and add some other custom touches but I'll keep...

HA I knew that, I guess I never knew what PTO stood for... duh. It's funny being in the Navy I deal with acronyms everyday and probably don't know what half of them actually stand for so I guess this is par for course. And it does have the PTO for the bed with two levers.

Thanks, there is a lot of work ahead of me but I'm confident that I'll get it there. It'll be a driver so I won't be too particular but I'm hopint to get some cool custom touches on it. What is a power take-off? I was wondering about the steering column bracing, I haven't seen many interiors of...

Those trucks are beautiful. I hope I make it to that caliber with mine. I plan on hot rodding mine but in a fashion that someone would have been able to do in the 40s. So I'm not using late model parts and such, anything custom will be hand made. My dad wants me to take the wrecker route but I'm...

That's something else, if someone comes across a place to find those odd hard to find parts, post it here so it can be found. northernclassictrucks.com has cab patch panels, running boards and door patches. just try to keep it for the early coes though as these are the ones I started the thread for.

Great! Thanks, he seems to be a good supplier of the engine parts I may need. I don't know the condition of it but I hope to use the factory Flathead.
