Went with a different carb , had to create new kick down , Car is a 55 crown vic with 292 2 speed fordamatic. Used a special adaptor and replaced the tea-pot Holly carb with a carb from a ford 390. Works ok , Thank for your replies

Could someone please send me a picture of how the fordamatic kickdown should look, I have the correct rod that goes down to the transmission and up the back of motor by the firewall. I am not sure I have the right accelerator linkage. Please post on ford barn or send to me at haw96aii@yahoo.com

Both vertical chrome sides had the same strip inside the chrome channel one is in better shape than the other but they do have a 90 degree angle about a eighth of an inch that fits into the rubber window gasket

The two side pieces of chrome that go up the side has a long I shaped rusted piece of metal that slips into the rubber seal it is one long piece that is almost as long as the chrome strip . Mine is still in the chrome strip one is worse than the other but the bad one is almost disintergrated and...

Could anyone tell me where I could get the piece or clip that holds the outside chrome that goes up the side of the rear window? My drivers side is all rusted away.It goes the entire length of that piece Thanks Herman
