Hello, with this set up i still have to remove the rear end or the motor to re move the u-joint? Or can i just remove the short shaft?

Thanks for the info. Is the u-joint the same size as a passenger car? Also the shifter moves when under a load.

Hello, Finaly the snow is gone and can drive the old AA. I have packed abouth 50 miles on it and found a few bugg's. I have rebuilt the steering box, fixed a seat spring issue and installed a new light harness. Minor stuff. Now the transmission is popping out of 4th gear. What would cause this...

I check the clearance and its around .002 so it should be good. As for the valve I will need to change the guides. Thanks for the info!
