    Roadster seat Cushions

What did you do about the backrest? Did this leave a gap? I dont have either cushion at the moment.

    Roadster seat Cushions

I tend to skirt the line here a bit with one of My A's. My roadster while still a 4cyl flathead and OEM transmission-it is fenderless and has some period "go fast parts" winfield head, intake and carb. It's all A though, but I call it my hotrod and I want it to drive as "A" as possible. I try to...

    Model A Transmission.

I've paid 5$ for one out of a burned down car but the inside was immaculate.. I've also paid 100$ for just the shifter tower. So somewhere in that range.

    30 Roadster Tack rail Template?

I will be mounting vinyl beneath the tack rail.

    30 Roadster Tack rail Template?

Some nicer materials, discrete hardware little different taper towards the top iron mounts since I will be running it exclusively without the top.

    30 Roadster Tack rail Template?

Does anyone know where I might find a template to make a tack rail for my Roadster. I started trying to make one but honestly I'm unimpressed with my result. I know these wooden pieces are available to purchase, but I'm looking to make something a little more unique.

The future of Model A and T collecting.

Im 35 now, purchased my stock coupe at 28. My experience has been that the A community is very welcoming. I am friends with a number of car enthusiasts and most aren't so interested in My old stuff-not enough to owm one anyway. That said many my age can't afford a house, or apartment so toys...

    Bad day for babbit

I understanding routine maintenance. But How would that have prevented failure of this bearing? What should I have done differently? I am fortunate that I have a few micrometers that I actually just got from an elderly gents estate. 1 and 2 inch. So I should be good on that. I'm still weighing...

    Bad day for babbit

My 30 coupe started getting a little loud, I opted to leave it parked for about a month before I got the itch to dive and see what was wrong. I was hoping it was a shim that needed to be taken up. Well I drained the oil and dropped the pan and was met with some not so friendly chunks of metal in...

    Nicely engineered electric conversion kit

I would think the rear half of the drivetrain would not like what it's attached too. These machines aren't made for instant torque delivery. The rear keys come to mind.

Unlikeable Aspects of the Model "A"

Glare when driving at night. I suspect coupes are the worst with the two parallel glassed so close to each other. Made much worse by modern headlights. Floor mounted battery I could do without, but it does help with handling Ha!

    Whitewalls

I like the look of white walls on others peoples cars. Not on mine though. A little too look at me for my taste. Ironic that I like driving 90 year old cars and try to remain anonymous. But I already get enough attention from family member complaining that I drive them. A's are you most fun you...

    29 coupe frame sag?

You can shim the body blocks if it's within reason. But know moving one corner will effect others -trial and error.

    Shifter Suddenly Stiff

Does anyone else find disassembling the shifter to be the dirtiest job on a model a? I did a few recently and man was I covered in black greasy goo. It made using the spring tool pretty difficult. Ha
