What is repop?

So it sounds like getting a replacement 36 pump for the one that is leaking on the driver side (is that left or right?) is probably both cheaper than magnafluxing mine and wont detract from the correctness of the vehicle as it currently stands. Correct?

I've rotated the tab 360 and nothing comes out. The shaft coming out other side of the draincock turns with the tab so I know the internal mechanism is moving.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I always suspected that there were some mishmash going on under the hood. Here are some more photos. It looks like there is a drain **** at the bottom front of the engine that turns but I can’t figure out how to release it and drain the block.

OK, I’ll give it a try and see where this rabbit hole leads me. By the way, any idea why they would have put a 36 water pump on a 32 Ford?

How could I get the casting tested for cracks? No sense rebuilding if the casting is shot.

Thanks for the explanation. If the pump casting is cracked, does that mean that basically I have to get a replacement pump? Does anyone recommend a rebuild kit to try replacing the seal first? It's odd that this just started happening spontaneously but the car sat for 18 months until April.

If I wanted to have mine rebuilt rather than buy a new one, where would I get that done?

Ok, so even though the one in the link I posted looks very different from the one currently on my water pump, I should swap mine out for the new one and see if that does the trick?

Where is the best place to get one of those?

The later model water pump on my deuce is leading from the grease nipple. My brother told me it might be the shaft seals. Any ideas if this is something that's a relatively easy fix or do I have to send it somewhere for a rebuild? Thanks! Eric

Ok, so I got the replacement Offie fuel pump, bolted it on, cranked the car and....nothing. If I use gas or starting fluid in the carb, it tries to fire. I've verified the line from the tank to the pump isn't clogged. When I feel for suction at the inlet to the pump during cranking, I feel a...
