Best Black High Heat Paint that Dries Like it Should

When I paint parts with VHT type paint I heat em up in the grill to about 500 degrees and then spray them. That would be tough to do with a grill but you could at least get the top part hot and then spray it and let it cool down to see how it does. Let it sit for a day or 2 and then check it out.

    34 Ford Need Advice

You don't have to have an exhaust system to get the car started. It will run fine off the exhaust manifolds. You can use temporary wiring to get it running but get it running otherwise everyone will try to beat your price down based on that. If you get it so it can be yard driven even better...

41 Flathead try to get her started

One thing I always do before trying to start a car that has been sitting for some time is to pull the plugs and squirt some MM in the cylinders. Let it sit for a day or so and then try turning the motor over by hand. If you get it to go through a complete rotation then you know your good to try...

    Flathead Engine Build

Also if the rods and caps were stamped with the numbers of the cylinders the number faces out towards the oil pan rail.

Radial Tires on 1934 Wire Rims

I have 7.50 x 16 and 5.50 x 16 on my 34 16" wire wheels. They are Coker Bias look radials. I have tubes in them as well as the rubber center band over the spokes. Look great on my A roadster.

    Rebuilt Flathead Problems - Resolved!!

Thanks Tubman! It felt great when it fired off! Fordestes - I am not actually going to run this carb. It was the newest/best one I had on hand. I have a 3 deuce setup for it but the carbs are rebuilt and not set up yet, so I didn't want to try to tune them at the same time as getting the motor...

Position of pistons to take out oil pan on 1950 8BA

Assuming this is a flathead V8?? From what I have seen there shouldn't be any interference from the crank in any position as the throw of the crank is inside the block/pan rails and the pan sits on the top edge of the rails. I have pulled off more than a couple of oil pans and all just came...
