J, I opened the feed pipe up to the next size from the supplied line that comes with the Taylor unit. As Mike says, the valve chamber is still absoultely flooded. For the $75 that this unit costs, no problems here.

The frame on my 28 rpu was drilled for either LHD or RHD. Is this common to the early vehicles? My Vicky is only LHD and from what i remember both my 30 coupe and 30 wagon were only drilled for LHD.

Me either, it's just something you seem to see a lot of. I have WW on the Vicky, BW on the truck.

The reason i ask, is because i see them painted in almost any color from the model a era. Red sure does seem to be popular. I gotta think about this one.

What are the rules for choosing a color? I have a 28 rpu that i'm restoring, and i know the color choices were Rock Moss Green, Black, Gunmetal Blue and Commercial Drab. Is it ok to choose another color that was available on any of the other 28 models? You guys that own 31 commercial vehicles...

The correct way to weld repair a crack is to first drill a hole in each end of the crack before it is welded. With the size and length of the crack in your cross member i would probably go with a 3/8 hole at each end. It's just the way i'm used to doing it.
