    Modern bendix

I was told by one of the techs at Snyder's that the very early Modern Bendix were made in India and not good quality. Now they are U.S. made and good quality. Mine is over 2 years old and has been perfect.

    Oil leak

If the few drops of oil really bother you, buy a REAR MAIN JANITOR from Snyder's, Page A-127, item #A-6768. Put a couple of folded paper towels in the bottom and change every few weeks. They work great!!:)

    Emergency brake handle

Soak the boot in hot water and you can slide it over the PARKING brake handle without tearing it or having to cut it. A little WD-40 helps, too.:)

    New Model A owners

My best friend in HS had a '30 Coupe his grandfather gave him and I always wanted one. 62 years later I bought one and it has been a joy to drive and to keep polished like it was new in 1931. We have a great local club and...

    Engine "Rattle"

I had a heater valve flapper that was loose and made a rattling noise. Anything attached up against the firewall can make strange noises that are hard to pinpoint.
