    '32 '33' 34 Truck front fenders

So I'm assuming that 32 fenders would not work on a 33 or 34. Different wheelbase as well? 106" vs 112" if memory serves. Question. Are 32 commercial shells and passenger shells interchangeable on 33/34 commercial vehicles? (Assuming you change the hood, radiator and the grill) or will they not...

    28/29 CCPU Roof Tutorial

This is a really good point, somethinng I hadnt thought of. I ordered some regular black cotton canvas and some water proof canvas as well. We'll see how they feel but I live in socal so I'm almost leaning toward the regular canvas, as I'm wondering if theres a plastic coating on the waterproof...

    28/29 CCPU Roof Tutorial

This is a good point. I put staples on each bow but towards the front and rear. I could see more staples along the bow really helping with the ballooning and I like your idea. I will probably end up doing that. Gordy

    28/29 CCPU Roof Tutorial

Looks like this binding but this is only for 1912-1925 Ts it says on Snyder. I'm wondering if fender welding could be used instead since the other stuff is discontinued or if the hide em or wire on weld would be a good substitute?

    28/29 CCPU Roof Tutorial

Any idea what this is? Is this wire on welting or is this a piece of metal garnish that goes on before the welting and gutters? My truck most certainly does not have that. Lol

    28/29 CCPU Roof Tutorial

Hi All, Did some searches about adding the roof material on my 28 CCPU, but have a few questions. So far I have the wood screwed into the body, I used wood filler on the seams to get them nice and smooth as I heard that any little seam will be visible on the long grain vinyl. I used a cheap...

28/29 vs 30/31 phaeton top irons

I agree. It definitely looks like 23-25 top irons. It came with a bunch of extra wood too. I think I might try to think of a way to engineer it to fit because these tops are hard to come by and I think the 28/29 phaeton tops are no longer being reproduced. :/

28/29 vs 30/31 phaeton top irons

Hi all, Was wondering what I have in terms of top irons? I had the black set from when I bought my 28 phaeton but they’re incomplete. I recently purchased the rust colored ones for a pretty good deal but I’m pretty sure that they’re 30/31 as I’ve read from my search that 30/31 wood sits more on...

    Starting Troubles

TJMack, I put 5 gallons in and it reads a quarter tank (slightly below) on the gauge now, but I believe my gauge isnt working properly. How many gallons does a 28 Phaeton hold as Im thinking of getting more Gas to remedy this issue. I got it running today, but it starts out sounding really...

    Starting Troubles

Hi All, My Model A started and ran two months ago. I got around to try starting it a few days ago and it didnt start. I thought it was a spark issue. It had the older style distributor upper and lower plates, which I replaced with a newer style seeing as the lower plates wire was getting...

    T5 Valley Machining Kit

I sourced a t5 at the carlisle swap meet (well atleast my dad did) and it is an s10 from a 2.5L v6? that is world class and has the 3.76 gearing. I'm thinking of two different plans which are 1)going ahead and doing the valley machine open drive kit with the stock model a rear (welded...
