It didn't sound like a Model A, they must have had the wrong muffler. Also the steering seemed a little loose once he got it over 200 MPH. WOW, what a performance. I'll have a new answer for those who ask, "Hey mister, how fast will it go"!

Has anyone tried it in their Model A and what was the result? For those of us in the Northern tier of states where freeze protection is a concern, I understand (from the Evans web site) that their coolant in the cold thickens but never expands or gets solid. A very interesting concept.

The lead singer of the Diamonds is not Tom Hanks father although there is a strong resemblence. Tom's father passed away a few years ago and the Diamond's lead was still singing as of last week in Phoenix.

The waffle manifold not only heats up the distributor and the condensor, it makes it very tricky to change a condensor on the side of the road. Been there down that.:mad:

We have a member of the Fox Valley Region, MARC who will be 90 this August. He not only drives his Model A's he still crawls under them to work on them. He is an amazing man who served on board the air craft carrier Hornet during the Doolittle raid on Tokyo.

I have one Model A. A '30 Sport Coupe named Betsy. To keep Betsy company I have a '41 Cadillac fast back coupe, series 61-27, named Val after my mother.

Ole Betsy likes 45 to 50 as does her driver. She will handle 55 with out complaint if called upon. Betsy is a '30 Sport Coupe with Goodyear 19" tires, Skokie babbit stock engine, Ted's floater brakes.

Bob was very kind and helpful to me when I first came to the hobby. I also haven't spoken to him in years. I hope he is alright.

The next time your hands are covered in grease, give them a spray of WD-40, rub them together and watch the grease go away. It works better than Goop!
