1940 Ford rear hood hinges. Were the originals intended to have grease on the rivets. There is a thin brass type washer at each rivet. I have a used set that I feel I can refurbish them. Seems the arms should have a snug fit? Thanks, Fourdy

Wondering if any of you have used the brackets to replace the Y yoke bracket holding the fenders in place? 1940 Ford If so, heavy enough to be worth buying or should i just build some? Sales fellow at Drakes had no idea how or what they were made of or how sturdily built. Thanks, Fourdy
