Use a double sided rubber tape 1/2 so that the welt is sandwiched, Also at the rear slot v in when the fender is loose slot it back on its self from under then tighten the bolts ,makes a neat finish

Some times you need to unsolder the tube ,straighten it drill it out ,I use a piece of mig wire flattened at the end into a chisel shape ,

I use a switch such as #500148 drilled under the dash ,I have a high stop light /Flasher coupled into the circuit using four 50 cent diodes to stop feedback, four flashers on the bumpers . works great , Ted
