    Head gasket replacement

I'm replacing the head gaskets on my 8Ba,it's. 40 over with stock heads. Speedways big bore gaskets say they fit up to 3.25 and mine should be 3.2275. Speedway says they are right ,the numbers look right to me but I've been told that's not enough clearance to prevent the gaskets from protruding...

    Rear end swap questions

I've been running a 9 inch out of a 71 F100 for years. I originally used the 71 Ubolt plates mounted on top of the spring. I'm rebuilding the truck and want to make sure I do it right. I've been told it's not ideal to use the 71 plate with 2 inch springs. I also read Mid 50 sold an adapter kit...

    1949 F1 drum swap

Thanks. Seems like the best alternative to finding F1 drums. Mine are right at .060 over.

    1949 F1 drum swap

I've seen the threads about using 1980s Bronco rear drums as a front drum replacement. Is there any issue with the center hole size? I read F1 drums use the hub to center the drums. Would Ac Delco 18B33 drums work?

    New TT

I'm new to the Model T scene. I've been around the Flathead V8s a while but the Ts are completely new to me.I just picked up a TT that needs alot ,I know its got a long way to go but I'm okay with it. Anyone have some recommendations for a good source of information other than the Barn. I'd like...

    Stock air cleaner?

Anyone have pictures of an original 1941 air cleaner? Were there more than one variation offered for different models during the same year? I thought mine was correct but after reading something online I'm questioning it now. Thanks

Need an electrical genius, don't know where to turn.

Thank you for all the advice. I've been busy the last few days but got around to it today. I replaced the 2 condensers with one later model automotive condenser and it now runs great. This place really does have a wealth of knowledge. Now I just need something 24 volts I can run with it or maybe...

This is the only forum I'd ask a question like that , I know what kind of brilliant people are on here.

Need an electrical genius, don't know where to turn.

Maybe if I can get a .150 mfd condenser I can substitute it for the original?

Need an electrical genius, don't know where to turn.

This is in no way Flathead related but I know there are some very smart people on here. I am trying to get a B-24 Auxiliary power unit running and I'm not getting a spark. It has a magneto with 2 condensers. I believe they are bad. They are labeled Wico x4215. I can not find a cross reference...

    Atlas ignition parts?

I believe they were shut down in the 90s. I just need a way to find out what the points fit. I can't seem to find a catalog for them.

    Atlas ignition parts?

Does anyone have a catalog that will cross reference Atlas part numbers? I picked up about 50 points and condensers but I have no idea what they fit. I know one is number 106 and one is 154.
