I finally received my gas tank back from the radiator shop after a thorough cleaning, soldering and sealing. It took 2 months but the wait was worth it. Hey wrndln, I wonder if I can get a chrome or plated version of what you have anywhere? 400A - I do have that dimple in my band from my retainer. I currently have my tank out getting the works so while I have my band off I plan on gently working that dimple out.

I am in search of a 1930-31 rear hood retainer. I have looked all over and can't seem to find any place that has them in stock.

Thanks for the reply and info Herb, I am going to try and hand crank the engine a few revolutions (key off) and if that does work to free the Bendix I will pull the starter.
