I have a 1930 Model A frame fully assembled, running car.... I want to replace the nuts/bolts on the side of the frame that holds in the front cross member (side=facing the wheel) and was wondering if I can simply remove these bolts to replace, or am I dealing with sprung issues? Meaning.... as...

anyone know the minimum distance between axle and frame.... like can I get away with an inch? Understanding that spring tension has a factor in it... but still wonder if I can get away with an inch? As I said above, my 4 spring pack installed has the axle just almost touching the frame...

WHOA!!!!! Replaced the new 4 leaf spring and it def lowered it..... almost right on top of the axle.... and obviously the wishbones need to be adjusted forward because it rolled back soo much. I seriously think it dropped it 3 inches. So probably need to add a leaf or two. Question is.... what...

Thanks. Yes, I am going to start with 4 (as is) and set it down on the ground. Then, add one at a time and see what works/drives best.

Does anyone have a source or advice on a interior panel for the rear area (behind the seat)? I have all the other interior panels, but don't know what to do with the area behind the seat since it has a curve. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you!
