Ken makes an excellent point! I've been running this type of hose on my 53 Ford truck . I've never experienced a problem. Yes, like a Snap -On Tool , you'll pay for the name . However , the QUALITY is there ..........

I sure would like to see pictures of the completed operation. I have a 53 panel. Now I'm running separate seats as panels only had a standard driver seat anyway . Since the clutch attaches to that NO ACCOUNT Ford box , I'm stuck with changing everything out if I use anything besides a gear box...

Body and trim parts are NOT going to be easy to find . Thankfully, because the 170 engine was used in Falcons , you could be in good territory. I used to use N A P A and Old Dominion Mustang in Ashland Virginia for trim. Course too, I also used to manufacture custom van parts for that van myself...
