I have a spare 3 speed transmission for my 46 Ford PU. The ****** was rebuilt, however, the top loader gear shift needs rebuilding. When shifting to 2nd gear the handle has 2-3 inches of sloppy play to the left. I'm in New Jersey. Can someone recommend a reputable rebuilder to me? Thanks...

My 1946 pickup steering wheel gets cruddy & tacky when it's humid outside. Little flakes, and/or balls come off in my hand and are annoying. Is there anything I can do to seal it other than replacing the actual wheel? I don't want to create a safety hazard by making it slippy either. Thank...

Thanks to everyone who has offered their input. I am actually fishing for a friend who is not PC savvy. 2ndgeer........ Where did you get your aftermarket radio? I don't think my friend is too concerned with period correctness.

Does anyone know of a resource to find an aftermarket AM/FM radio that will fit in a 1949 Ford pickup truck? It must be 12 volts and install in the dash like the original. Thanks!
