I am putting a new top on a 1947 ford convertible. The tensioning cables were missing from the start. Does anyone have info on where those can be bought or do I have to go with a generic set. Also if anyone has how to info or picks of them installed correctly that would be great!

Anyone have a top latch for a convertible? It's the one that screws into top (center) and latches to the one mounted to the body. I know I can get a repop, but thought I would give this a shot first. Thanks

I have a complete front suspension from a 47 ford car.. and 292/312 yblock was told it came from a 57 tbird??? has tbird valve covers. runs well would be good for a rat rod. Sell cheap or trade for flathead stuff. Mostly want it to be used. Tom 5035597989

Yea , That's the Idea is to delete the rear quarter windows, I just was hoping that someone had done it and can tell me how well the 41 top works {if at all} with the 47 irons and what needs to be reworked or added short of finding a 41 back half and irons?? the windshield is chopped 2in anyway...

Recently purchased a 47 convertible (Thanks Kelly) and like the look of the 41 top. Has anyone put a 41 top on a 42-48 , is the door glass different? or what is the support differences for the irons?? I am sure I will have more questions later as I dig into it!! Thanks in advance for any help!!
