I sanded them before installing them the second time and rotate the engine to make sure the points were opening and closing at the proper gap (20).

I replaced my points along with rotor, distributor, coil wire and plugs on my 29 CPU last weekend. I also re-set the timing for the first time. I was anxious to see any improvement in the performance of the engine. But, not so much to my own surprise, it wouldn't start. No fire to any plug...

Do you have to drop the oil pan to change the front rope seal or can you get to it by removing the timing gear cover only?

Are you saying I need to make a bevel or correct one?

I have a loud squeal from the front brakes on my CCPU. I am assuming its brake dust and have been removing the front drums and cleaning them about every 200 miles. Is this normal or is there an easier way to prevent this loud squeal when braking?

Do you have a picture of your tail pipe extension? Do you have rear bumpers?
