Phil my machinist gave me the list, he already knows all of what you stated, the engine has passed the crack test, has been bored, awaiting the final honing, and the rods passed his inspection. I'm just looking for vendors to source from.

Understood. This thing has a steering wheel the size of a 55 gallon drum, lots of torque in the wheel alone. .

Any suggestions on a steering box swap that would reduce the turns lock to lock. A whole lot of cranking to get this thing to turn. what have others done?

Any thoughts on a low buck solution to the steering on a 53 convertible. So many cranks of the wheel to turn the darn thing. Is there a easily installed replacement steering box? What have others done?
