Sbc. Stock tank I did find that my facet pump has a filter in it already. I took the filter out from between the tank and pump. I need to verify venting

Changed it.lol It’s a deal that when it works it works good but then it starves and I can see the filter before the pump and hear the pump it is dry. I don’t have the stock filler though I have a fuel door with Hagen style cap that I drilled a small hole for venting
