    Lower Ball Joints Replacement

is there anybody or any website that shows or give good instructions on how to do it yourself on replacing lower ball joints on a 1955 ford Victoria? They were replaced about two years ago(long story) and need new ones again. Can they be replaced in my garage, with some help from a friend? Dave

    PCV valve

well I installed a PCV inline one with a 283 that goes up to a 305. I started the car after changing it over and it ran like it did before I put the PCV in line. I took it for a short spin, didn't want to go to far, as I thought I might have to walk home if anything should happen but nothing...

    PCV valve

My valley cover does have a baffle, I went from the side mounted draft tube to the one that discharged out the back of the block.

    PCV valve

The part you see there is from National Parts Depot, I'm sure you've heard of them. The part number is T-6758 it costs $24.95 with tax. It just sits where the old draft tube does ans screws right into the valley cover. The cover is about 1 1/2 inches across and 1 5/8 tall, made out of aluminum.

    PCV valve

Here is an idea I came up with for my 292 cu in y-block. I was told if I didn't want to pull the intake to mock up the valley cover to accept the rubber grommet and the valve was to run a inline PCV valve. So this is what I've come up with. The valve in the picture is for a 1966 289cu.in. Ford...

    1955 sunvisors

Hello: Is it possible to replace sunvisors on your own? If it is possible, how do you get them to stay on the arm? How do you get the old ones off the arms? Can I get away with some F-100, are the lenghts near the same or are they way to short to make it look good?, you can get a set of sunvisor...

    If you were young

I'd like to have what I have now, a 1955 Ford Victoria, only with a laser staight body. With a 312 cu in Y-block with a mild cam and tri-power, and a toploader 4sp, headers and a good looking interior to match, highly polished torque thruster two wheels, red and white two tone paint exterior...

    55 Ford steering gear box

I'd like to know if "hooversab" still has that gear box for sale for 50.00 plus shipping to Taylor Mi. If so let me know, I had some trouble last year, but got myself out of it. Really would like that part. It also has to be a 55 and not a 56 because they don't work. 56 had the deeper steering...

    55 Ford steering box

Thanks for all the input!! The reason I want a 55 gear box and have it rebuilt is I won't have enough money to do the whole thing at once. I buy a gear box, set money aside, have box done, save money for installation of gear box, have it done. I'm no machanic so don't say "do it myself."...

    55 Ford steering box

I'd like to know, can I use a 56 Ford steering gear box on my 1955 Ford vicky? I have a bad one in my car now, a guy has a 56 but doesn't know if their interchangable. I want to have the 56 rebuilt then switch it out......Dave
