    Early Ford juice brakes

This is great info and how-to. Thanks very much. But I’ve never heard of a brake pedal jack…is that something absolutely necessary for the job?

    Early Ford juice brakes

Ok thanks fellas…so by “adjusting correctly” the lower eccentrics, do you mean give them more or less drag? And thanks again, this is my first car with early ford brakes…my others have had discs in the front and I don’t want that for this car.

No I didn’t replace the shoes. They had a lot of material. But I also don’t think they are arced to the drums.

    Early Ford juice brakes

Hello, I have 39-42 ford brakes on the front of my 32 phaeton. I recently replaced both front wheel cylinders and then adjusted the brakes as per my dad taught me. I have currently bled the brakes 4 times starting from the furthest wheel to the closest wheel to the MC, which is a single...

    1932 Ford Options

Thanks for all the responses. I’m not new to Deuces. Currently I own 3, none original. I’m trying to get a phaeton through an inspection so just need to know if a wiper was standard or not. If not, I’m good, if it was, then I need to install one, which I’d rather not do. But it is what it...

    1932 Ford Options

I just purchased a 1932 ford phaeton and need to get it inspected in order to register it(I’m in BC, Canada). My question is: did 1932 ford phaetons come standard with windshield wipers, side view mirrors and licence plate lights? Thanks

    1932 Ford phaeton front seat

Thanks for all the insight. It is a finished car so it won’t be easy to do. But I drove it for 15 mins and felt like a pretzel when I got out. So I would definitely have to do something. As for rear passenger seat room, I’m not toooo concwrned about that, but also don’t want it to be zero...

    1932 Ford phaeton front seat

It’s an Aussie body. Does that change things? Couldn’t the seat bottom just be unbolted, moved back and new holes drilled in the floor? Deuce phaeton is my dream car

    1932 Ford phaeton front seat

I am considering the purchase of a 32 Ford phaeton. However, at 6’4” tall, they’re not the most comfortable for me. I know the seat isn’t adjustable on tracks. But is the seat also part of the body structure for the B pillars? If so, is there an easy way to just unbolt it and move it back...

    32 Ford Tudor door alignment

Another dumb question I have been adjusting the rear of the door with the pinch bolt on the cowl. Can this bolt be tightened up too much? I don't want to cause stress in another area. Also, do the hinge pin splines just stop the pin from coming out or serve another purpose? Sorry for the...

    32 Ford Tudor door alignment

So you are referring to the part of the hinge that attaches to the body and placing a bushing on the top of it? That could work in my case, however the splines on the hinge pin would not be in contact with anything. Do those splines do anything special or just keep the pin firmly attached and...
