I had my 1936 Ford LB motor rebuilt, And after it ran for about an hour I noticed the there was a small amount of oil leaking behind the front pulley. My 1936 Ford front crankshaft has about a .005 valley where it rides on the front seal. My question is can I use a speedy sleeve on my front pulley, and insert the pulley into the stock 2 peace seal? thanks Dave T

I just did the exact process on a 1936 LB motor. I just used a tube type suction gun, put a barbed fitting in where the oil sender fits and pushed in two pints of oil, The oil pressure came up very quickly. Dave T
