The pumps show it should be for the correct application. We are going to try one last time ordering a new one. We did call NAPA, they already sent the core in... so it's long gone.

    1936 Pickup windshield seal

Working on putting the windshield back into the old pickup... Question about the seal. I would assume that the seal goes onto the windshield frame, not onto the body. The only problem that I am having is that I cannot for the life of me figure out how the seal goes onto the frame! I have...

    1936 Pickup running hot!

Thanks, I have had the radiator cleaned and re cored so that shouldn't be a problem. I have thought about sending my pumps down to skip to have them rebuilt just because I have read that his are the best. I have looked, but cannot find thermostats that will fit in this engine, what is everyone...

Starting for the first time in 10 years!

Thanks for the help and ideas! I went out last night, checked all the lines and have good fuel flow. I should have mentioned that I put a dirty leg on this before starting and also another filter in the sediment bowl. I Checked the filter going into the carb and found it to be really dirty so...

Starting for the first time in 10 years!

Good morning, I normally hang out in the early V8 forum, but look here time to time... I have recently started working on a 1930 Coupe that my grandfather owned, it has been sitting for a little over 10 years since it ran. It did run great when it was put away. I have gone through all the...

    36 pickup body harness

Working on getting the wiring finished up on the '36! I am running the body harness from the gas tank up to the brake switch, and for the life of me I cannot figure out how the wires run up the frame to the switch and ahead... I ran it up the "X" part of the frame, but don't know where it...

    '36 bed bolts

I just put in an order with Roy, he does not have these bolts. I am thinking I will end up doing what Lawson did and weld onto some all thread or a different bolt. Your correct that Henry did not make it easy at times lol, the square drive is a little bit smaller than a 3/8 drive... BUT, I...

    '36 bed bolts

Getting ready to put the box back on my '36 pickup. The bolts that hold the box to the frame were all but destroyed when taking apart. I am getting the carriage bolts that go in the front of the box from Roy, but need the other 6 (3 on each side) clutch head bolts with the square drive. I...
