    1936 steering gear rebuild question

Great help guys, thanks so far! I just got out the sector shaft seal. Is it possible that this cork sealing is the right one for the old metal one? It was included in the set and until now I don't know where to put it :-) It's the only one left and it fits perfect over the sector shaft. Thanks...

Hello from northern Germany, I am rebuilding my steering gear with the set from the early ford store. I pressed the new worm gear onto the shaft, but then I saw the housing for the cross shaft? has also two wheel bearings that have to be changed. Do they also go out with a hydraulic press? And...

30 Model A oil pump installation

Hello from Germany, the pipe thread from the side of my block ist damaged, I can't get it out. Is this the way you hold the oil pump in place without the tool? And while the paper holds the pump, you put the oil pan back in place? I can't believe that the paper stays in the engine? Is it...

Reversing Polarity in a Lincoln Zephyr V12

Hey guys, thanks. Tim, unfortunately, it has no columbia 2speed. The seller of the car put new coil and distibutor in it, so I want to drive the 6V for the next time. The Lincoln will get a bit lower, the rest will stay as it is. My Ford went another way with a 284 Flatty and some other fine...

    remove windshield 1936 Cabriolet

Thanks Dan for your help from many thousands kilometers away :-) All the screws are already out, the windshield doesn't move at all. Normally there is no glue here, right? I think someone did so... Or is there any other possibility why it is stuck?
