    '39 Standard hood latch

Thank you Karl. Is there any way to improve the resolution of the drawing? I need to enlarge it, but it becomes to fuzzy to read when I do. Thanks, Ron

    '39 Standard hood latch

Does anyone have an assembly diagram of the hood latch assembly for a '39 Standard tudor? Also, what size are the hinge to hood bolts (with shoulders)? Thanks.

Brake upgrade questions for 39 tudor

I've been quietly lurking and trying to learn all I can, but now I have questions and need guidance. When taking the wheels (wide fives) and brake drums off my car, I discovered one of the wheels has a severe corrosion issue at the valve stem hole. It is rotted out to about 1 1/2" in diameter...

    Wiring harness

I recently asked a question about the fuel sending unit and gauge on my 39 and based on a photo that I posted along with the question, I was "advised" that the wiring jungle under my dash needed to go. My question is how to go about picking out a wiring harness to do the job. A knowledgeable...

    Fuel gauge issues

I bought my '39 standard back in November and thought I had found the goose that laid the golden egg because the fuel gauge always showed full. New member intro and a question about mirrors

After much cursing and banging with a BMF hammer and drift, I finally got the pins out and the original mirror modified and the new mirror installed. I have to agree with those of you who said the passenger side mirror is worthless. A passenger would find it useful but a driver, not so much. Oh...

Modern steel belted radials on '37 wide five wheels

Okay, I'm following this thread to try to find out exactly what the wheel width is for a '39 wide five. It is my understanding that tires are intended to be mounted on wheels of certain widths. Am I misinformed? Also, how can one accurately measure the width of a wheel with a tire already mounted?

    55-57 Tbird info

This had been in the family since 1966. My dad paid $1100 for it. I sold it in 2008 for $10000. Wish I had kept it.

Speaking of air filters: The sequel

Tom, I can't find any numbers on mine anywhere. Mine is a much lower profile than yours. It has a Ford maintenance decal on it but no reference to any year.
