I figured it out by reading the directions. I needed to flatten the washer out with an pliers that made the OD larger. Then the emblem pressed right in and stayed put.

Bought an emblem for a 1930 radiator shell from Bert's The tapered fitting on the back of the emblem is supposed to be a press fit into the hole in the shell, However the tapered fitting is too small or the hole is too big. The hole is about 1/8 inch larger than the fitting. What is the deal...

Saturday night I took files and filed down on the stanchion mount and on the stanchion stop until the stanchion angled back what I thought was the right angle matching the angle of the mount. I think it will work out OK. Now LB paper patterns that I must match and mark up...

Sorry, that will not work. If you looked at a pair, you would see why. the stanchions left and right are not exchangeable. Cal

Marco's site does show a picture of the clip but what is it for and do I need it. I find it strange that LB does not include it with their interior kit.

I am putting the lower stanchion on my Brookville roadster body and the lower stanchions are going to need to be tweaked. Can someone give me the out side dimensions of the two flat surfaces at the top of the stanchions. I want to be sure that they fit right before I paint them with the body. Cal
