That worked! I disconnected the vacuum hose at the wiper and put two or three squirts of light oil into it and reconnected it. After a couple of halting wipes it just took off fine. Thanks for the tip!!

Does anyone know of a reliable source for repro passenger assist straps? I see that many of the vendors carry the repro brackets but no one sees to have the actual straps. Any recommendations? Thanks!
