Looking for a bed for a 1951-52 ford f2-3 long bed, previous owner thought it best to fill the cracks and voids in the bed with concrete. The bed sides are now almost completely cut in half all around the perimeter. Body shop informs me it is not worth fixing..... Any help appreciated.

Yes the cover is metal when I took the cover off there was a wire that may be touching the case when it is installed. It is extending from the solder joint beyond the side of the relay. I will clip the wire and give it a go. Thank you

Took the cover off and checked everything. All the connections are solid nothing broken or burned into , it does have a burnt smell to it and there is a discoloration in the coil part it appears a darker color than the rest

Could it be a bad bulb? I switched from 12 to 6 volt and did not have this when using 12 volt.
