is the fluid in the power steering and the transmission the same,and if it is like i thought what type is correct for my 59? also has any used brad-penn oil in your cars, i was told a straight 30w would be the best choice as far as helping to reduce any oil leaks?

can i put a overflow antifreeze bottle on my 59 352,or should i have the rad cap tested to make sure it is holding pressure (14lb)? im afraid to go any higher than the reccommed cap pressure because of the unknown age of the radiator

just thought i would share the cure to my gas back siphoning out of my in line fuel filter. i replaced my existing after market fuel pump with a airtex pump,the problem was a bad check valve in the outlet side of the pump.

is it normal for gas to drain back out of a in line fuel filter,seems like it takes a long time to gas back to the carb if i have not run the car for a while. also i know a guy selling a 58 ford rag top with a continetal in the pittsburgh area if anyone is interested,black with white top.

anyone in pittsburgh,pa area who is good at adjustments on a retractable roof, everything works just needs some mechanical adjustments

thanks so much for the info it helped,also i found a sharp edge on the cover plate that presses against the gasket, so very carefully file them of and sanded with 600 sand paper,this may have been cutting into the gasket slightly thanks again bsky59
